1. About WatchGuardLite

WatchGuardLite (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Canadian-owned luxury watch ownership registry and documentation platform operated by WatchGuardLite Inc. We provide digital registry services, ownership documentation, and travel awareness tools for luxury watch collectors and owners.

Our services are designed to help owners document, verify, and protect their timepiece investments — not to replace legal counsel, insurance, or law enforcement services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, submitting a watch record, or using any feature of the WatchGuardLite platform, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 18 years of age
• Have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service
• Have read and agree to our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy
• Are the legal owner of any watch you register, or have explicit authority to do so

3. Registry Services

3.1 Vault ID Records. WatchGuardLite assigns a unique Vault ID to each registered watch. This record is for documentation purposes only and does not constitute legal proof of ownership, title, or authenticity.

3.2 Certificates. Digital certificates issued by WatchGuardLite serve as private ownership documentation tools. They are not legally binding ownership certificates and carry no warranty of authenticity.

3.3 QR Verification. QR verification links allow third parties to view limited registry information at the owner’s discretion. We are not responsible for how third parties interpret this information.

3.4 Accuracy of Information. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted. WatchGuardLite does not independently verify ownership claims, serial numbers, or authentication documents.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use WatchGuardLite to:

• Register a watch you do not legally own or have authority to register
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent ownership documentation
• Facilitate the sale, transfer, or concealment of stolen property
• Circumvent law enforcement investigations
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without written permission
• Interfere with the security or integrity of our systems

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Service Fees. WatchGuardLite charges fees for registration, certification, and premium services as listed on our pricing page.

5.2 Bitcoin Payments. We accept Bitcoin (BTC) payments. Cryptocurrency transactions are final and non-refundable once confirmed on the blockchain. Always verify the wallet address before sending.

5.3 Refund Policy. Digital services are generally non-refundable once delivered. Contact us at support@watchguardlite.ca within 7 days of purchase if you believe an error occurred.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the WatchGuardLite platform — including logos, design, copy, certificates, and software — is owned by WatchGuardLite Inc. and protected under Canadian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

WatchGuardLite is a documentation and awareness tool only. We are not liable for:

• Loss, theft, or damage to any registered watch
• Failure of law enforcement to recover stolen property
• Third-party reliance on registry records
• Inaccuracy of risk data or travel advisories
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platform

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy and Data Protection Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
